QUESTION:
How did tickets work on his last tour?
Was it same as PJ touring? Was there a lottery? Was it seniority?
Sorry for all the q's just wanna be prepared.
It was a lottery for all 10-club tickets. No seniority
So everyone thinks this is only about EV Solo?
I was thinking it was a band tour announcement til I re-read slower
That was it sounds like to me at least..
Come on Ed play the south!! , you've done northeast and west already!
Well said!!!!

This an OLD e-mail I saved from Eddie's last tour. I just posted it to answer questions people had about ticketing, etc. Look at the dates.

so wait, do the actual tix go on sale tomorrow or will it just be an official announcement?
My feeling is that its just the announcement.
As far as I can remember, they've never sold tickets without telling us the exact date/time of the on sale.
you obviously don't remember Copenhagen and Poland in 07 then.. not sure there was even a tweet (we just knew something had to be announced because Poland was going on public sale that day), it was just an 'it's on sale NOW' (or rather it was 3 hours ago on a Saturday morning by the time someone woke me up with a text )
I'm keeping a tiny little glimmer of hope that it'll include something from Ed this side of the pond..but really tiny..
So Im still confused about how the tickets will work. Is it a ballot?
And how long after you 'purchase' or apply for them, do you find out if you got them?
no, you buy the tickets exactly like for PJ shows.
but there's no seniority, the seating is random (within the best seats in the house)
everyone's crashin at arq's place for the south florida date!!!!!
