    Agreed. I wish they would just do that w/Beltran and Reyes too. This season is done, no reason to ruin next season too.

    I was at the game tonight and with how everything has been going actually thought David Wright was fucking dead....from my vantage point he dropped immediately and laid motionless for what it seemed like 3 minutes...this place must be fucking cursed!! There is no other logical explanation....anyway, out to get a little more drunk in an attempt to forget..

    i think its time to get rid of reyes before he becomes damaged goods. this guy never stays healthy. reyes kinda reminds of a another certain 5 tool player that the mets were so high on, i think his name was jay payton.

    I fucking called it on the Philly thread that by the time the Mets face the Phillies again, Wright will be out..and Pedro will pitch a no-hitter against us..this is insane..

    It won't be against the Mets. These aren't the Mets. This is the Mets AA affiliate.

    You know, I've gained even more respect for Wright after this ordeal. I love that he said a part of him is embarrassed to be on the DL..You'd never hear something like that from Reyes..

    Yea, if you find them in Idaho, New Mexico,Arizona, or Guam....maybe that applies. I think there is 26 reasons I can think of why you hate Yankee fans, its on the tip of my tongue. But hey, you guys won it last year fair and square....so gloat away. IMO acting like you've been there is a much cooler

    There are lots of reasons to be a Mets Fan. Mine are simple, my dad grew up in the Bronx and hated the Yankees. He then moved to Queens 10 minutes from Shea. I had no choice :)

    Bought???? That is the lamest, easiest thing for non-yankee fans to say. look at the Mets Payroll this year, whats that gonna buy them? Alot more goes into it than payroll. As for when I was born...thats real genius on your end.
