Not getting a signed copy sucks?? Discuss.

Am i the only pj fan who feels let down by the lottery that was with the super delux???
We as fans are totally in the dark with how many boxsets were signed, but i am sure that ten club
sold a hell of a lot more due to the fact they were offering this lottery.
I got mine of Friday, was held to ransom by UPS and no signed copy.
I wish they had made 2500 signed copies available to the fans, i have spent the last few months in total hope of getting a signed copy.
Not fair.....

    sure we don't know how many were signed but that is the whole point!

    get over it, you had as much chance as everybody else who pre ordered from the 10c of getting a signed copy! i don't see anybody else complianing about not getting a signed one!

    I purchased it before we even knew it had a chance of being signed, so no big loss really. I'm still getting what I paid for.

    I am just thankful to be getting mine tomorrow...signed or unsigned...I have been waiting since December for this and I am very very excited!!! I'm going to love it regardless! Plus, we all knew the chances of getting a signed copy was slim to none...they never promised us that all would be signed.

    im with you on this....rumor has it i "should" be getting a signed boxset..... i got no emails..three freinds plus me orderd within two days of each other.they are getting them on MONDAY also......im 32 years old... i havent been anxious like this since i go a "thumbs up" on my prostate checkup........hahahahahaha

    just out of curiosity, do we know where the autographs are located yet? mine arrived at my parents' house but i wont be back in the country til may... id have them look for it, but if its on the front cover then theres no point in them screwing with it til i get back... thanks

    oh and if its not signed i wont care :D

    This board is absolutely full of ungrateful people at the minute. We just got an incredibly luxurious, tailored-for-fans set released and people then complain about it. The ammount of time that must have gone into it, and this is what people have to say on its release?

    No one who posts on this message board has reported getting a signed one although that does not mean that they aren't out there. I am guessing that if it is signed that it would be in an obvious location. I don't receive mine until tomorrow so I'm not even sure what the actual box looks like yet.

    I haven't even gotten mine yet and honestly, I really give less than a shit if it's signed. I ordered the day it went on sale and didn't even notice until a couple days later on this board that random sets would be signed. I figure if, and I mean a big "IF", mine is signed, I would have to go to BB and buy another one which I really can't afford right now. The other set would be packed away. I am just happy with the content in it and can't wait to spin the vinyl, watch the DVD and just enjoy it. That's why I bought it.

    I'm actually impressed that there isn't more posts like this!

    I expected way more people to be pissed that they didn't get a signed copy, and this is the first one I've seen.
    I'd say that's pretty good.

    For the most part people have been really happy with the set. As they should....since it's superb!! :D

    As for the OP....SERIOUSLY!!?? If you could read the description, then you knew the deal.

    Well, I also bought mine before I knew that was a possibility. And I haven't been on the boards much so I missed out on the "all 10-c" orders will be signed rumor.

    For me, listening to the remix this week has been absolutely amazing - I guess I don't listen to Ten anymore as often as I listen to some of the newer stuff. When I first put the headphones on it was like being transported back to '92. Back to being 21, in my old (first!) apartment. Me and my friends - we'd sit up all night just talking and drinking - with music like PJ, MLB, Nirvana, AIC playing in the background. OMG - to be 21 again at 3am in the morning! Looking up at the night sky, feeling like you're coming to terms with and breaking away from all the bullshit in the past and now you've got the whole world in front of you, and you can take off in any direction you want. It was an incredible time. And Ten was the sound of all those feelings for me. And they've been with me on the rest of the journey, too - it's really pretty uncanny that everytime they release an album it's like they're in the same emotional space that I am. I can't decide if they are following the same path, or leading. Musically, they've been the greatest gift I've received. Nope, disappointed, is not a word that's entered my mind this week!
