It is way over-used, but I think it can be appropriate.

    Sorry, it's never appropriate.

Thanks to a certain miss CIW I went into an American Apparel for the first time ever this week and....It looked like the eighties threw up in there!!

http://www.americanapparel.com/rsand301mw.html (stone wash....are you shitting me??)

Please no....it's horrible...because the ACTUAL people who wear these clothes sure as hell wont be models!

THAT is the most annoying upcoming trend IMHO.

yeah I'm not sure how anyone who knows anything about Dov Charney would want to support American Apparel.

That's the owner guy, right? I saw a story about him on TV and totally agree with you. It made me sad, because I had previously supported them (not for their fashions, but for their sweatshop-free t-shirts).

I have a friend who does the same. I don't see him that often, but when I do it seems like it's his answer to everything.

OHHH there are SOOO many more useless phrases than that:

    "Ah jaysus begorrah"
    "Right so"
and, the most over-used word in Ireland that doesnt have a meaning of any sort really: "Grand"
Essentially, "Grand" is the word to use when you cant be arsed thinking of an actual answer or word.

Try it, use it in a sentence. "Ah jaysus, sure bejaynie t'isnt it grand now, begorrah?"

Not really a trend, but the Ashley Madison dot com commercials really get under my skin. Part of me respects the fact that someone came up with that idea and found a way to make money off of it, but the other part of me is revolted that it even exists.

Yep! I say most of my likes when I'm really fucked up. Because I'm, like, at a loss for words and I want to, like, explain something in detail.

Otherwise, it bothers the living hell out of me. I can't believe I still here people rattle it off as if it is nothing in college classrooms.
