Motley Crew - Alpine Valley '83. I was surrounded by sex, drugs and rock n roll and I was only 5. Not a parental decision I would have made... :nono:0

I was preteen and it was a boyband, enough saidI don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!0

The Monkees (less Mike Nesmith) with "Weird Al" Yankovic. During the Monkees' eighties revival (MTV and Nickelodeon were repeating their show, and I'd gotten hooked on the songs). I was eleven, and asked my dad to get us tickets, so he took my cousin and me. So the first live rock performer I ever saw grace a stage was Weird Al, which was all kinds of awesome.
The first show I went to on my own was during college, when I went to see the Rolling Stones' Voodoo Lounge tour. Within a year or so, I was a full-fledged concert nut, and I haven't looked back since. My wallet grimaces just thinking about it.0 -
First real concert (excluding a couple little country fests for half a day when I was a kid) was Foo Fighters with Weezer opening in Minneapolis in 20050
