    Went to the train station today and wondered why the platforms were so busy ... loads of families ... soon found out they had come to see a steam train coming past ... was apparently a Valentine's train.

    Looked it up and tickets were £325 ($500) PER PERSON :o ... yep credit crunch is really hitting :shock:

    Nothing too exciting. Just going out to a nice restaurant. We have drastically reduced our dining out so this will be a nice treat.

  • we went out for a yummy meal last night.

    This morning we went to see the house we'll be moving into in two weeks... soooooooooo excited :mrgreen: then I've been watching the rugby :mrgreen: and now he's heading out to get a chinese and more beer :mrgreen:

    oh and the full bottle of coppolla malbec was utterly fantastic too over dinner!
    so good in fact that the next day ordered 3 bottles and a few other wine/food goodies from the coppolla website.
