Neither can I. But this is a good friend (Ten Clubber, actually)...and a fun group of people so it'll be a hoot.

Did you buy them PJ onesies? My best friend is pregnant and I bought her two (even though she's not a huge fan) because I figure that by the time I have kids (if ever) they won't be selling them anymore. Might as well live vicariously through her for a while. I'll take some pictures with the munchkin and call it good.

I am gonna cook us dinner in the pressure cooker that I am giving the gf as a gift, then we are going to see SPARKS (mainly known as an 80's new wave -synth pop band).

Question:

Since v-day is on a Saturday, is it ok to go out on Saturday morning to get flowers, or should I stash them in the house on Friday night?

i've bought my husband flowers.
he liked it, once..i guess for the novelty. he prefers electronic gadgets...or me in lingerie.....better.

I thought about that, but since I will be presenting it to her along with the ingredients of the dinner I am going to cook, I reckon it will be ok! I am also giving her tickets to the World Figure Skating championships, so I think she will be happy.

:oops: fair enough... but if you had to think about it, maybe don't give it as a gift but just say you bought it, the other gifts would be more than enough.

Worst holiday ever. My gf has to work all day, then we're getting fried chicken for dinner and watching a rented movie. I bought her tickets to Ray Lamontagne in Milwaukee.

well of course that's your decision I'd definitely go for a chick flick... maybe a classic chick flick like Bridget Jones Diary (i think it deserves 'classic' by now) or the satc movie was actually really really good.
