    Don't worry! Someone made you a birthday thread!

    Today I loaded up all the bottles, cans, etc., to take to the recycling place and went to return them after I dropped the kids off at school. The darn place doesn't open until 9am though and it was only 8am so now I have to go back again. :?

    people who don't clean the snow off of their car before getting on the highway. Nothing like a big sheet of ice flying back at your windshield. Oh...and if you can't reach the top of your monstrous SUV to clean it off... DON'T BUY ONE!!! :evil: Thanks :)

    I too woke up feeling blah today. I HATE FEELING BLAH. I’m usually a very upbeat, optimistic person but today I’m just blah. And the fact that it’s 1:00pm here and I have yet to shake it, is making me even more miserable.

    Some jackass thought it was a great idea to plow the parking lot behind my house for 4.5 hours this morning, beginning at 4:30 in the morning. Every minute or so, I would hear the blade scrape across the entire length of the lot. Now the snow is pretty much all melted, and it's going to get up to about 43 degrees. :evil:

    I got up and got ready for work and got there at 1:45p.m. (was scheduled at 2) only to find out that management changed the schedule so I work at 4:30, but nobody called to tell me.
    Not that big of a deal, but if it were the other way around, and I forgot to call and tell them I'd be coming into work late, I would get reprimanded.
    Lame! :evil:

    My employer coming up to me 5 to 5 and telling me everyone has to have Direct Deposit. Can they force people to do that? :x

    I guess if you want to get paid they can. It's amazing the choices that are being removed from our lives every single day. I personally don't mind direct deposit. But, I wouldn't be too fond of being forced into that choice.
    It's probably a way for your company to save money. Hopefully, this move will allow your company to keep everyone currently employed on their payroll.

    Another thing...
    Putting on my winter woolie to go out with my Dad, and having him look at me, chuckle and say..."You look like you did when you were a little kid and we'd go out" at this point I thought he was getting sweet and nostalgic, but then he ends with... "yeah, everyone used to say 'what a cute little boy' and I had to tell them you were a girl" then he laughed again.... Thanks Dad!

    being so wrapped up in my thoughts that I ran a red light... almost getting hit by a car that had the right of way.
