my 12 year-old son has been playing what sounded like “It’s Ok” on guitar, so yesterday I told him I recognize that song, where did you learn it? He answered - oh I just made that up. So I played him “It’s Ok” at the end of “Daughter” and he was surprised, and said he should learn the words so he can sing it.

Some random stranger just plugged my expired parking meter as the traffic cop was writing a ticket for the car 2 away from mine as I was running to grab my car but still a block and a half away. I wouldn't have made it. I couldn't say thx bc he walked the other direction and was gone around the corner by the time I got there.

Well, I officially found out on April 11th BUT..... Little Baby Andre Dawkins is back this season!
He red shirted last season but HE'S BACK for this season, with a new number, 34 instead of 20.
Still my most favorite basketball player EVER! Going to be a GRRRRRREAT season for me!!!

Yesterday I stepped between two students that were going to fight (gang rivalry). One was so angry at me for breaking up the fight, he stepped up in my face. Honestly thought at that moment that I was going to get my ass knocked out. I stood motionless returning his stare. Seemed like forever, but he finally backed down.
This morning, he greeted me with a huge smile and a handshake. No words needed to be exchanged. He knows I care, I know he's trying hard to change.
