Worst has got to be Bob Dylan. I've see some bands that I'm not into (Seether, Mars Volta, The Dead) that put on good shows in that the band had a good amount of energy and looked like they were having fun, but Bob Dylan just embarrassed himself on stage with his non-nonsensical singing, poor pitch, and lack of presence. His band was pretty good, though.
Yup. Dylan was absolutely, 100%, horrific.
Has anyone mentioned The Cult? They played some shows back in the late 80s early 90s where they essentially started riots among the fans. At one concert, Astbury essentially apologized for the band's poor performance.
I like their music, but they failed live. I saw them a few years ago and they had gotten a little better, but Astbury's voice has lost strength.

Yeah, but it's Bob Dylan.
I saw him in '08 and it sucked. But I saw a legend. Won't see him again....
I saw The Outfield in 1986 as this was embarrassing for me as I loved the tune "Josie is on a vacation far away". I also worked a job where Eddie Money came to my town and played our 4th July festival. I was psyched to see him as I loved him in the 80's but I was soon embarrassed for him as he was so hammered he couldn't sing the songs. I also saw the Ratt Poison tour which at the time wasn't that embarrassing just a hard sell to your parents when your 14 and want to go to a show with no supervision and they ask "what show"? And you reply um rat poison.

yes he was awful, and no I would not go see him again even though it is him. If I could travel in time I would leave after My Morning Jacket.
