Most Embarrissing Acts You have seen in Concert

Creed. they played the small stage at Edgefest or Summersault or something. They were horrible. It really seemed like Stapp was actually trying to act like Ed.
Crash Test Dummies. Saw them open for Alanis on her supposedformerinfatuationjunkie tour. The lead singer came out for their last song wearing women's clothing. it was odd.
Vanilla Ice during his rap metal stage. Yes, I willingly paid for this.
Nickelback. Played at a weekend festival (Shakin' The Lake) back in 2000 on Sunday mid-afternoon before they were famous.
Honeymoon Suite. A buddy got free tickets and told me he'd buy my drinks if I went with him. I love free booze, but I still regretted going to this.Gimli 1993

I was gonna say that I've never seen an embarrassing act because just about anyone I've ever seen was if nothing else "interesting to watch", if not decent or even mind blowingly-awesome.
But then someone just posted Creed... which brought back a painful flashback that, indeed, I saw Creed too, and I think what makes it embarrassing is that I knew they sucked, but I was curious and the ticket was free... but no, they still sucked. A LOT.
Otherwise, I've seen a ton of acts that probably most people here would find embarrassing (like, I was around in the 80s... I saw and LOVED bands like Adam and the Ants, Bow Wow Wow...), but if I had a good time, why would I be embarrassed?
Oh, wait, remembered another one... The Hooters!!! And the only reason I include them is, I lived in Philly at the time (where they're from), and I saw them a LOT. Because they were actually pretty good musicians... but still, that one is embarrassing!
And my own personal most embarrassing concert moment: saw the J. Geils Band at MSG at the height of their Love Stinks fame (that's not embarrassing), but I was up close and for some reason there was like NO security, so the ENTIRE SHOW fans were running on stage and dancing, hugging the band, one guy even ran on with a random rotary dial phone that he pretended to be talking on... it was an endless parade of fans jumping up and doing their thing. And I remember thinking "Well, usually I'd never even think to do this, but if I'm ever gonna be onstage at MSG, this is apparently it, so..." so I climbed onstage in the middle of a song, but Peter Wolf had his back to me singing to the fans behind the stage so I didn't know what to do once I got up there.. so I tapped him on the shoulder and scared the crap out of him, he jumped 10 ft in the air and I felt awful! But he was very nice and hugged me and I just climbed back down again and felt like an idiot. Needless to say, that is the one and only time I ever got onstage uninvited.0 -

Santana? Embarrassing???
And if Lenny had that amazing female drummer backing him, how was that not also awesome?0 -
Worst has got to be Bob Dylan. I've see some bands that I'm not into (Seether, Mars Volta, The Dead) that put on good shows in that the band had a good amount of energy and looked like they were having fun, but Bob Dylan just embarrassed himself on stage with his non-nonsensical singing, poor pitch, and lack of presence. His band was pretty good, though.0

Too bad about Bob Dylan-he was good in the sixties and seventies. I saw him in 1979, and really enjoyed the show!"A beacon on dry land"0 -
Bands/people that I wasn't proud of at the time, but when I look back I'm actually very glad I saw them:
- Elton John and Billy Joel together (legendary)
- Amy Winehouse
- John Mayer
- James Taylor
After that it gets a bit worse:
- Hootie and the Blowfish
- Swollen Member
- Kelis
The absolute worst act I've ever seen was A$AP Rocky. But he opened for Nas, A Tribe Called Quest and Jay Z, so it was worth it.0 -

Hootie actually was pretty entertaining. It was a free show they did at Steamboat Springs during the Olympic trials. A lot of drunken skiiers and snowboarders still in full gear from being on the mountain that day.
Kelis did "I hate you so much right now" but we left before she had the chance to do milkshake! She did play the drums for a few songs... thought that was pretty cool considering most of backing music came from a laptop.0 -

Yup. Dylan was absolutely, 100%, horrific.
Has anyone mentioned The Cult? They played some shows back in the late 80s early 90s where they essentially started riots among the fans. At one concert, Astbury essentially apologized for the band's poor performance.
I like their music, but they failed live. I saw them a few years ago and they had gotten a little better, but Astbury's voice has lost strength."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

I saw The Outfield in 1986 as this was embarrassing for me as I loved the tune "Josie is on a vacation far away". I also worked a job where Eddie Money came to my town and played our 4th July festival. I was psyched to see him as I loved him in the 80's but I was soon embarrassed for him as he was so hammered he couldn't sing the songs. I also saw the Ratt Poison tour which at the time wasn't that embarrassing just a hard sell to your parents when your 14 and want to go to a show with no supervision and they ask "what show"? And you reply um rat poison.Springfield 4/6/94, Boston 4/6/94, Hartford 10/2/96, New York 9/11/98, Hartford 9/13/98, Mansfield 8/30/00, Boston 9/28/04, Reading 10/1/04, Quebec City 9/20/05, Boston 5/24/06, Hartford 5/13/06, New York 6/25/08, Hartford 6/27/08 Philadelphia 10/31/09, Hartford 10/15/10,

Probably
yes he was awful, and no I would not go see him again even though it is him. If I could travel in time I would leave after My Morning Jacket.0
