Hoping to break 1:20, but got a lot of work to do, and some ell-bee's to take off.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

I hear that. Trying to do 1:40-1:30 this year. If I kept up this whole health thing year-round I would've liked to have been around 1:15. But there's those whole "going-to-Phils-games-3 hours-early-and-tailgating" thing...0 -
ALSO, if anyone's looking for something awesome to do on St. Patty's Day, then go to this. Should be fucking sweet.... http://www.donnybrookcup.com/0

Thats good shit. Too much of a hike for me but I'd love to see that. I rarely do anything for Pattys Day, but it is a Saturday and the woman is bartending at Liberties so I would imagine it's going to be a bit of a shit show.0 -

A buddy of mine told me there's a lot of easy money at the poker tables, so that's where I will be for a majority of the time - especially when everyone's shit-canned on St. Patrick's Day.0 -

Yeah, man. I would imagine that would be a very good time to sit down at a poker table.0 -

Poker room is pretty good there but if you go at a prime time can be a bit of a wait to get on a table depending on the game you are looking for. it's fairly comfortable though compared to some of the other poker rooms i've been in. i haven't made it there much lately but will get back into it in the spring/summer. upstairs blackjack and slots area is full of train wrecks though and usually fairly crowded unless you go in morning or early afternoon. parking garage isn't huge either so on a day like st. patty's day it might be a pain just to give you a headsup.0 -
i personally don't like the ideas of all these casinos popping up all over the place.

I have stated my position many times in this thread. I am not a fan of it, at all. I think it's terrible for the city.0 -

DUDE, I thought the same exact thing. I'll probably find myself there though.0 -

i really enjoy gambling but i have to agree with you. if all these casino's were in this area when i was in my early 20s...we would have lots of problems. i would have been there after drinking every weekend. it was better when it was AC or Vegas only. At least then you had to make a plan to get there.0 -

ha...i think it's the cheesy "V Casino" logo at the top of the old convention center that makes me think that.
yeah since it's so close i am sure i will check it out.
when i think of a casino, i think of a vacation or at least a sat night trip to ac or something. something about being able to stop off at one of them on my way home from work seems foreign to me. not sure i will get used to that.www.myspace.com0 -
