i can't say that part of me isn't wishing for a poor start to the offense when ryan is not in the lineup. i think the longer he is out the more appreciation some folks will have of ryan. lance nix ang ty wiggington every day will do that to ya'.

two words: Matt Gamel. I do find it funny that the Crew swiped Josh Hamilton's confidant (i think hitting coach) just a year before he becomes a Free Agent. Wouldn't it be pretty ironic if Josh Hamilton played 1B (yes I know he's a CF but would probably be able to last longer at 1st) FOR the Brewers while trying to battle alcoholism?

If you call a one game playoff an extra playoff team. I like it for the simple fact it creates more excitement for the division races and teams can't do what the Yankees did two years ago.

i just have a feeling that in another 10 years, baseball playoffs will look more like the nba/nhl playoffs than what i remember growing up. you know me clifford, i'd go back to 2 divisions per league and only the lcs prior to the world series if i had my way.
