I love anything that's beyond awesome.0 -
Phils made Kendrick's deal now for 2 years @ $7.5MM. I gotta think this puts him in the running at having a shot of being more than a long-man. Probably going to end up with the 4th or 5th spot in the rotation(trading Blanton) OR being a bigger piece in the 7th or 8th inning OR getting cost-certainty for a player that might be beneficial in a trade.0

Presidents day tomorrow=no work= a sunday marathon at petes sake. This could get ugly.0

Pizza in general is highly overrated - no matter where it's from.0 -

My comment had nothing to do with New York. Pizza around here is just kind of shitty. Lot's of great food in this city, pizza is one area that's lacking There are a few good places. Santucci's and Taconelli's are good but not really my favorite style pizza. Rustica is good but they don't cook it enough. And the fact that anyone would eat tomato pie pisses me off.0 -

I am sure I have. Forgot to mention, I do dig Lorenzos after a night out but I can't eat that any other time.
Is it only out in your hood? Edit: Passyunk between 12th & 13th? If so, I'll have to check it out. I gotta admit, Passyunk is one area I have spent almost no time in and have heard great things.
I despise the entire concept of tomato pie, not my thing.
I am a big advocate of the food scene in philly. I think there is everything from great high end restaurants to great bars to incredible BYOB. Love the BYOB's.0 -
Olney says the Phillies tried to trade Blanton for Abreu then trade Abreu for Burnett. I assume the Angels weren't having any of that. I won't even post what he tweeted after that.0

Did I hear correctly, that Ibanez signed with the Yanks?Don't come closer or I'll have to go0

Are you guys talking about Cascia's? GREAT tomato pie.
Yeah, that's the thing, not a big fan of pizza in general, but definitely a fan of tomato pie. Cascia's is damn good, Corropolese in Conshy, and Pica's in UD.0 -
On the way home from PJ20 we stopped off in Chicago for Pizza. It was probably the best i ever had. We ate at Lou Malnati's and it blew away any PA or Ny pizza i ever had. If in Chicago this plce is a must do.Go Birds!!!!0

My wife always tries to talk me into Pica's. I think that place blows.
Rustica is the best in the Philly area. And I do agree that pizza in NYC destroys what we have down here.0
