I'm still not sure how I feel about Jimmy coming back. I know he's a leader but he needs to play better and more often.
    Alright, alright, alright!

Didn't see that, but seems like Jimmy is coming back down to Earth. This whole trading Brown for Gio Gonzalez I'm down with, but the whole trading Cole - no matter what the reason will always bother me, even though he's a puss. The thinking is they free up cash for another big bat, which is cool, I just can't get over the idea of trading Cole. But.....if it nets Justin Upton or someone like that....I guess twist my arm....I guess.

Same here. I have less of a problem with changing the roster by getting rid of him, or trading Victorino, than trading Cole.

Jimmy, to me, is the one of the bigger problems with this lineup's approach at the plate.

Gio stinks. Walked more people in the last 2 years than any pitcher in the game.

i agree with both of you....also agree about not wanting to trade cole--which is what they would likely do if gonzalez comes back right?

the jimmy situation kind of reminds me of the birds with dawkins a few years ago.

Why would anyone still think Hamels is a wuss? His Game 3 performance this year was as gritty as they come.

He had one bad season, which can be attributed to the Verducci effect, and nobody will forgive him for it.

I think they'll get around to his extension later in the offseason, since they have to go through arbitration otherwise.

The less moves the better for my wallet. I currently have Hamels, Brown and Madson shirseys.

i think jp was more referring to the whole carrying his wife's dog in his man purse thing than anything on the field.

Why people still overreact to how I see the guy is beyond me. Of course Cole is the man. But he's still a puss.(the poofter dog carrying, the high-pitched voice, the lanky build, getting married an obscenely young age in relative to what he could be slaying instead of getting hitched to a woman older than him that is wayyy overrated - I'm just sayin'...just because the dude is a good pitcher doesn't make him not a puss.)

Ok, a puss, but not a wuss, at least not on the mound, which is all I care about.

Just be careful around him in those Clearwater bars.

That can't be true. If it is, that will be the worst of Amaro's contracts.

    This offseason has been brutal

They should offer madson a one year deal. Their offense is going to blow again, so they might as well load up on pitching

    God damnit.

And in the world of hilarity - Fixer, I genuinely hope the Phils sign Vizquel.....for my sake....actually, no, for your sake.

He may be dainty but his nickname is King Cole! He is also worth more than CJ Wilson.
