    I don't know how catchers do it. I couldn't squat like that for more than 3 pitches let alone an entire game. then they get hit with foul balls and stuff. some of those foul balls shatter cups. I don't care what you're wearing for protection...that's gotta hurt

    Fuck that. I'm under 30 and I couldn't do it. Posada did that 130 times a year for well over 10 years. Fuck that. Has to be one of the most demanding positions in all of sports.

    yeah, man catchers are nuts. People don't realize how much of a grind the baseball season is. 162 games crammed into approx 180 days. I couldn't even make it through a sunday softball league without hurting myself last summer.

    I thought it was something fake just on the broadcast. It's almost like there is a crack and then a cheer, and nothing happened. I heard it a couple times. I might be going crazy.

    I just calculate the pace every game. On a pace for 105 wins now. Never thought a Phillies season would be so boring in a good way.
