better then temple of doom bah, its just "cool" to hate temple that why everyone says they do, grow an opinion of your own.

Or maybe because it's not that great of a movie. But apparently if I don't share your opinion I'm a sheep. Right.
It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win

no thats not what i said, but to say Crystal Skull is better the Temple is just ludicrous. Its funny how for a movie that isnt that good it has one of the most iconic Indy sequences.

You're joking right, just the music alone made that movie a classic. Any reason why it was one of the worst ever.

My biggest complaint with this flick is the fact that it's not fucking scary . . . at all.

It's 3 people arguing about going camping with a shaky camera. If I wanted that situation, I'd call some of my old roommates :)

Did you walk out on the 2nd Pirates of the Caribbean? I thought that one was the worst one (even though I haven't finished the 3rd, as I saw most of it on a plane).
  • Wolf Creek. That movie was bloody awful.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

This is easy - Lady In The Water. I've never been mad at myself for seeing a movie in the theater until this one. I was genuinely angry at myself for sitting through this piece of garbage.

Sorry, I just don't like that writer/director, and I just didn't think the movie was funny at all. I hated Life Aquatic too. Had mixed feelings about the Royal Tenenbaums.
Oh, and as for the Blair Witch Project...I can see how people would think it sucked if you went to a regular movie theatre. I saw it at the drive in, sitting on top of my car (the drive in was surrounded by woods), and seeing the movie in that atmosphere freaked me out. But I will agree it's kinda cheesy.

    But specifically City of Angels.

If anyone has seen Wings of Desire by Wim Wenders, the german film from the early 80s that was RAPED by the makers of City of Angels, which is purportedly a remake, although the word rehash (or indeed regurgitation) covers it better, you'll know what I'm talking about :)

I had completely forgotten about this movie. It holds the distinction as the only movie I've walked out of in a theater. Granted, there are a ton of movies I wouldn't even attempt to see, and they may be worse. But this movie is the worst movie I've attempted to see. Completely horrible in all of the ways you mentioned.

He's also starring in a remake of The Lives of Others, which is only a couple of years old and won the Oscar for best foreign language film so christ knows why it needs to be remade. Not only that, he's playing the main role which was originally played by an actor who died just after release. Way to taint a legacy Cage

We had a discussion over dinner last night about this movie and the funny thing is no one remembers it until you SAY the name..its almost like the subconscious removes it!

They're not ? Are they really ? booo ... i hate it when they remake movies that dont need to be remade, like a few years back how rumors were flying that Micheal Bay was remaking the birds. You cant do anything to that movie to make it better. What is the point. Also they are now talking about remaking robocop. booo ....

Hey dude, Michael Bay is remaking the birds. He isn't directing, but it's his production company that are doing it. The same company that remade Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hitcher, and some other horror "updates too". God I hate Michael Bay.
And Robocop???? That movie is awesomely awesome. Why would anyone want to remake it. It's perfect the way it is. And the cast is so god. There's no way they can do it justice.
And seriously, the Lives of Others is still a new movie. and it's an Oscar Winner for good reason. Why must they continue to rape good movies instead of making original ones? WHY?????
