Just listening to Golic during the second Monday Night ALREADY talking about next week's game and how he used to prepare for the Eagles for their games against Dallas was getting me pumped up. I love it. I equate Dallas to that athletic pompous rich douche jock in high school that just needed to get the shit beat out of em, and BAM - cryin like a baby. I cannot wait for Monday. I'm officially gonna be able to do no work that day.

And I just got everything situated for my trip to Seattle for that game! That's gonna be just fucking awesome.
seattle should be a good time. ive only seen the birds at home. i have season tix. thinking about making a trip to dc this year though.
Yeah dude do it. Going to Birds game away is where it's at - ya get to travel while seeing your team in cool places. And singing "fly eagles fly" loud as shit with a big group of Philly people while watching everyone hate you is pricelss. So far I've gone to away games against the Redskins, Cowboys(last year was friggin awesome beating them, but Irving and the surrounding area ABSOLUTELY SUCKS), Giants, and Saints(awesome trips the past 2 years). And this year we're doing Seattle and next year San Diego which should be great.

Philadelphia Inquirer made the same point today when mentioning the Eagles beating up Detoit one week last year only to be destroyed by the Giants the next week.

Except the Browns were almost a playoff team least year and picked by many to make it to the playoffs this year. Browns were 10-6 last year.
Anyway, get this. The Cowboys and Eagles have played each other for 48 years now. And out of all of those seasons, there have only been 7 where both teams finished with a 10-6 record or better (or 9-5 or better in the 14 game era). So enjoy it, because it is very rare that both teams are good at the same time.

Which in turn breeds negativity. He leaves out the fact, like I said, the Eagles were all fucked up for that Giants game.
whenever i come across a cowboys fan in this area, i always ask them, "oh your a cowboys fan? thats great. what part of texas are you from?".....when they inevitably say they are from the philly area, i just say "oh...so you enjoy being a fraud then? well good for you."

daily news had a similar article...but it also mentioned this is clearly a better team than last year....mcnabb finally is healthy...so is lj....our d is better...our special teams are a million times better...and we have more weapons on offense. BRING IT.
