    Movie 43

Wow, really crude and offensive and weird... I liked it.

I got bored after half way through (may have to do with the fact that Ryan Gosseling's character died). Otherwise, the movie was shot in my area, I recognized a lot of places and roads, and it was very nice cinematography.

I didn't see this movie, but I heard it was one of the worst movies in a loooooooong time.

Lone Survivor. Pretty decent. Lot of cringe worthing scenes.

  • Last night, a friend of mine and I saw an advanced screening of Need For Speed (out on March 14) at Scotiabank Theatre, which I've won it from a contest on Monday. There was also a Q&A session with the director Scott Waugh and actor Aaron Paul after the movie. The movie was really bad and cheesy. I did think the cars were good-looking and the Q&A session was fun. My friend didn't really like it either. I knew it was going to be a bad movie when I found a few hours before seeing it, Need For Speed will be post-converted in 3D at the last minute. The screening we saw, however, was NOT in 3D.

Interestingly, while we were at the theatre, I found out there was also an advanced screening for the sequel of 300 that night in IMAX 3D, which I was totally unaware of it.

I didn't see this movie, but I heard it was one of the worst movies in a loooooooong time.

Whoever said that was taking it way too seriously. It was way too weird with way too many surprise and bizarre appearances by huge actors to be that bad. And while some of it was just too gross, it had some high points.

Watching Dark Skies right now and it's creeping me right out. Good supernatural thriller!

The 3D conversion (for need for speed) took 12 weeks! That's incredibly quick, but the company who did it is top notch. (conversion done by Stereo D)

I was against 3D converted movies, until I saw the re release of Jurassic Park 3D, pretty good..Also considering it's like 20 years old!

  • Blackfish. This was an amazing/depressing documentary. I hope the bastards that run Sea World go to jail....I dont see how there can be any conclusion other than "These sob's are culpable for human deaths and animal cruelty" after watching. I know that documentaries can be extremely slanted but I just cant see the other side on this one.
