^ Yeah, this was great! Jeffery Wright is awesome. As was the rest of the cast. I lost it when he retitled the book! 😆

    Love it!

I think Emma deserves the Oscar!!..what you think ??..if not, Sandra Huller was amazing in her both films this year..
I totally think she should win it. That was one tough role to play, and she nailed it.

    And she win it!!..

Speaking of the Oscars, I was so happy Cillian won best actor. So deserving and what a humble guy. He’s arguably the finest actor of our time after Daniel Day-Lewis. Think I’ll rewatch Peaky Blinders again.

It's a children's movie. About all these child-characters experiencing different child-things... haha... Third movie in a series... worked a bit on part 2 back in like 2011 (in the "clean up" department).. so was fun to return to that universe over ten years later (in the animation department).

Stellan "Harkonnen" Skarsgård is the narrator

I hadn't seen this since maybe 1992, when we watched it in English class after we read the book. I hadn't realized or remembered that James Cameron literally copied the entire movie, but then added the silly love story, which he also seems to have based on a small story about a couple in this movie. I am talking, it is identical a lot of time, line for line, and shot for shot. I actually like this movie better than Titanic. For 1958, it is very impressive, and without the love story and domestic drama taking up all the time, it gives way more details about the actual sinking. For those who only like Titanic for the sinking part and not for Leo and Kate, this is the movie to watch! You can watch it on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-SA_DcRORU&list=TLPQMTUwMzIwMjQLBQ_Fio4Zkg&index=2

I have only watched JC's Titanic once. I had just drove 4 hours to get to the in laws house, and as soon as we got in the house, they insisted on watching the movie. I was tired and a bit cranky from being in the car that long so I wasn't in the mood to watch a long movie. I remember thinking well, I know the ship sinks, Kate lives and the only thing I didn't know was if Leo died, which I didn't care one bit about. By the end was rooting for the iceberg.

I'm ashamed to admit I had never seen this before. I figured it was high time I did.... I think it's really overrated. It's only okay IMO, although I really enjoyed the hilarious drunk driving scene, lol. Some people say this is their favourite Hitchcock movie. How can that be?
