    Night of the Demons (1988)

Couldn’t remember if I had seen this or not, but about 15 minutes in or so I did remember seeing it before. Not too bad for an 80’s horror flick. Pretty stereotypical cast and plot, although the special effects and makeup weren’t too bad.

  • How was it?
David Finchery to the point of sometimes feeling like a ”shot on RED”-Steven Soderbergh film

Also, no way Fincher hasn’t been very-very inspired by Barry s02e05. But Bill Hader did it better.

Took my mom as we had both read the book. Good film, but man, history sucks. Odd cameo. I knew Jason isbell had a small role, but Jack White cameos at the end.

(And I definitely did not have to go see Five Nights at Freddy’s because my son’s girlfriend is obsessed with the game and wanted to go so I had to take them.)

Good. Held interest for full runtime. Both wife and I saw dicaprio went full on sling blade during his interrogation scene. You can't go full sling blade.
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

  • Wow. This one was heavy. Fantastic performances from the two leads. Some incredible visuals as well. Recommend.

I plan on watching A Haunting in Venice tonight. We wrapped up our Arts Council's production of Murder on the Orient Express last night. I started going back and re-watching movies adapted from Agatha Christie novels. I need to go back and read the novels again, but I already have a sizeable backlog of books I need to get to first.

If you like Ripley's movies, i will suggest you The American Friend (1977) by Wim Wenders..
