I liked this. A good 80s vibe with the way they filmed it. The lead is great. She was the best thing about Raised By Wolves on HBO.
  • Wind River was good.
Enjoyed Wind River. Check out Hell or High Water. Same writer.

I heard he was good in yellowstone too. But I haven't watched that
I am not sure who he plays in Yellowstone but I can tell you Yellowstone is a halfway decent shows that people overrate from here to fricking eternity.

New York freezing in the summer feels like a no-brainer plot for a Ghostbusters 3,4 or 5 from the 80s. So I think that aspect fits like a glove.

I think they in Afterlfie should have kept Paul Rudd and the girl as the two ghosthunting buddies who bonded over being the only ones in the small town crazy over the supernatural. CROSS-GENERATIONAL BUDDYSHIPS. Was not a fan of the dynamic with the other boy with the boring "podcastgimmick" and them trying to make it in a "squint and you'll see it" Stranger things-thing.

And that character, should have been kept as

a supernatural entity helping out by moving lamps and other Poltergeist-classic but in this case helpful and cute stuff. And not CG-manifest.

  • I actually liked Podcast and his dynamic with Phoebe. On the flipside, the Stranger Things kid and his girlfriend were completely useless.

  • My friend who is a ghostbusters fanatic loved it. It’s fine. It has almost the same plot as the original minus on twist and a change of setting.
  • Is that last Ghostbusters worth watching?
    Would say: yes
