I actually disagree with that. I think the American version is better.

70mm IMAX is underrated.  70mm Super Panavision is also underrated.

    Please

How can people not feel like it's 20 minutes too long. Is that airport setpiece even needed for the plot?
And changing Baccarat to Poker because that was hot for like 3 years at that time.

    Please.

Baccarat is a game next to nobody knows the rules of.  Way more viewers could follow the poker scenes

Every Bond film is overstuffed - it is part of it.

I think the way it looks is fantastic.  The ridiculous fight and chase scenes are better than normal, and Bond as a rookie is a great storyline.

    Also....he is awesome as Bond

With how that french dude is giving badly written exposition to the audience during the poker scenes about what is happening, it doesn't seem they thought many viewers would follow the poker scenes anyways. haha.

    BACCARAT FANS UNITE

But a great Bond song. And Martin Campbell is a great fit as director. Both with CR or GoldenEye

Funny, I grew up thinking Roger Moore was Bond.  😂

    Did not feel Timothy Dalton.

Then, I believed Pierce Brosnan was Bond. Then, came Craig.

    Definitely feel Craig IS Bond.

(Yes, I do love Connery, but had to watch those movies much later. And Lazenby only got the one film.)
