Rewatched Into the Wild last night. I hadn't seen it since it was in the theaters. The scenery is just as beautiful as I remembered. I really enjoyed the extras on the DVD version. I think I knew after reading the book, but had forgotten, that Krakauer did the same thing for three weeks as a young man. Just more fortunate than Chris in that he made it out alive.
And the sun it may be shining . . . but there's an ocean in my eyes
Pitch Perfect. It's actually pretty hilarious and Anna Kendrick's got a really nice voice.

what the fuck, good?
What the fuck, bad?
Or
just what the fuck, what the fuck?
Is this the movie where the girl works at the fast food place and is accused of a crime she didnt commit?
.
Like what the fuck what the fuck.
We were going to turn it off because it was so far fetched. Let it run through, saw the "it happened 70 times in 30 states" thing and was like "come on".
Then I googled it and the story is 100% authentic. Actually the real version goes even further.

Hmm, I was thinking of watching it. I'll save it for a rainy day
Yeah, I would recommend it. Not a great movie, but it is quick.
I had a good experience I guess because it was on, it was just some random movie to me... then I thought it was too far-fetched and stupid, then learned it was based on a true story, then researched and confirmed....
I just bought The Hobbit, havent seen it yet, maybe tonight. 40% off in B & N
Cool, I was thinking of picking that up on my way home.
I'm settin it all up, Blu-ray's in the bedroom. I'm gettin in!
Sweet. I hope there are a lot of cool extras too. I just got the Life of Pi blu ray too, hoping to see how they made the movie.
I may get the 3D version of Hobbit. My Tv is 3d compatible, and even though I dont care, I'm curious to see if its crappy or not. Of course, I dont have the glasses or anything yet.
I'm always scared to get the latest thing, like 3D, because how fast something newer comes out. Like i thought Blu-Ray would be king for years to come but now Sony's developed something called 4K that supposed to be even better, but i find that hard to imagine.
I do love going to see movies in 3D in the theater, Avatar blew my away!

Yeah I feel pretty much the same. Im not interested in 3D at home on a regular basis. just curious. I think the glasses are expensive anyways..
I actually didnt like Avatar's 3D in the theater. it didnt seem smooth to me. I did love Life of Pi and Jack the Giant fucker-upper in 3D though. I think the 3D has gotten a helluva lot better recently.
