How was it? I've been wanting to see it.
To put it bluntly it's weird and very well acted...

Just saw the trailer for the movie Oblivion ... I feel like I just watched a condensed version of the entire movie.

Why do studios do that? Major plot twists were revealed and the ending seems obvious.

Funny you should say that. I watched a few trailers with my wife a few weeks ago and we both turned to each other and said, 'that was a good movie." We both felt as though we saw the whole thing, twice!

That's being kind. The movie itself sucked.

I watched the first half of The Company Men last night. Tommy Lee Jones is awesome.

I've been only watching the first half of movies, then waiting a few days to finish it. I used to hate doing this, but I do it now because I like to let it simmer and think about it before I see the end.

I loved it, i read Diagnetics when i was 19 and soul searching and had a pretty good idea what the movie would be like going in, although it was even better acted than i had imagined. It's certainly not going to be everybody's cup of tea or hardly anybody's but if you have someone in your family that's Fuck Nuts Crazy it's interesting to watch. Joaquin Phoenix and Phillip Seymour Hoffman are Amazing, i think they cancelled each other out for an Oscar win. Kind of a guy movie.

    End of Watch

Could have been a good movie, but they used the handheld POV method of filming (which only works in a certain genre)

Even in the found footage genre I find it to be getting stale.

Most Overrated movie last year, IMO.

Hate that handheld movie crap. Gets my stomach all nausicious. Cloverfield started it, although I liked it. Project x did it last year as did that "superhero" movie which came out last year as well (forget the name at the moment).
I think The Blair Witch Project was what started it.[/quote]

Blair Witch didn't have that shaky camera thing though. Least when i saw it in the theaters i didn't feel nausiated while watching the handheld camera parts. :?

There was running and stuff with it, but they did do a good job of not getting that nausea inducing shake still. It was definitely the breakout found footage movie though. For me, the only movie that ever made me feel weird because of that kind of thing was Saving Private Ryan - the opening scene

Man in the Chair. Just by chance, on a cold rainy Sunday afternoon, turned on Sundance channel and watched this movie. Excellent...... and I cried.
