In the country for a week- have 20+ current films to view (family member a member of the Academy who votes)
Star is born- 2nd time ❤️
On The Basis Of Sex ✅
Vice - turned it off after 20 minutes
    Boy Erased✅
Mule- they liked, I went to sleep- I have zero interest in Clint at this time.
Surprised about Vice. I thought the trailer looked great. Although I think the Big Short required some patience and an acquired taste too so this one is probably hit or miss with most.

I liked the trailer as well.
I didn’t see the Big Short, so can not compare McKay’s style. It was thumbs down for all 4 of us for various reasons. I found it tremendously tedious.

Destroyer- turned my back after 45 minutes- too rough around the edges, then too violent for me.
Beautiful Boy- loved it, heartbreaking tho’

    Prince Avalanche- Meh..just ok.

Take This Waltz-I found this movie to be incredibly intense. I really liked it. I thought Michelle Williams did an amazing job in her role.

It’s the first time I had watched it.  It was very good and, unfortunately, still quite timely.
