    Well, you have David Cronenberg on one hand, and he is a wildly imaginative visual storyteller. 

    And you have Steven Spielberg on the other hand, and he sucks rocks.

    Saw Existenz a long time ago, but they are not very comparable from what I recall.

    I enjoyed it.  It was fun.  I laughed out loud a few times.  Very grateful that it wasn’t a remake of Robin Williams’ Jumanji.
