    "Brian Banks"

What a great movie.  After seeing this, my wife and I looked at each other and said at the same time, "And you thought staying home was tough?!"   GREAT movie!

im on a DeNiro, Scorsese tear

    .see King of Comedy yet?
Jerry Lewis totally steals that film from Bobby D.

And Charles Grodin did so later in Midnight Run.

Agreed with Jerry in King of Comedy, although Rupert practicing in the basement and yelling to his mother was hilarious.

I don't think I've ever seen Taxi Driver in full.  Midnight Run, definitely not

Ok, will have to search it out. I’m a Mr. Motherfucking Kotto fan as well. His work on Homicide: Life on the Street was stellar (as was the entire series).

Real good.  Great acting from McConahey and Jared Leto. I can see why it won and were nominated for some Oscars that year

    The Gentlemen (2019)

I usually love Guy Ritchie movies; I did not love this one.  Total miscast, in my opinion, of Mcconaghey and the other American actor.  They slowed the pace of the movie down to an excruciating pace when they were on screen.  Loved Hugh Grant’s character though, and Charlie Hunnam when he was being a proper gangster.

    The Green Book

You knew how this was going to end up but it was still a great story and a true one at that.

It's a big 3D theater movie with some pretty decent laughs.  My opinion is that no sequel should be made.

MM is a national treasure.  I like that she's a movie star.  Kate McKinnon has leveled up since this was filmed.

    Omar seemed out of place.

One of my faves. His performance is incredible. Right up there with Gangs of NY imo

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

I swear Sam Jackson has an uncredited cameo in this.  The scene where DiCaprio and Olyphant are in the saloon (Di Caprio forgets his lines), it twice cuts to a table of card players, I think Jackson's the middle one with an eye patch (nod to Nick Fury?).

Damned if Brandi didn't steal the movie again (second time watching this), lol.
