Last night I watched Game Plan.  Dumb, predictable, mindless, but cute.  Just what I needed at the time!

    The Platform (El Hoyo)

Came out late last year but it's on Netflix now. Pretty good horror/thriller movie in Spanish. If you like movies like The Cube you'd dig this one. I would suggest watching it in Spanish with subtitles rather than the dubbed English version.

It was sweet, a few good laughs and an epic conversion van. Not prime Pixar, though, I’d say. The kids liked it.

I’m really looking forward to Soul. That one looks great.

Onward is on the docket for us today. The kid wanted to see it in the theater but we missed that chance, so we'll watch it tonight. Popcorn will be cheaper.

Me too! I liked that film when it came out.

Marriage Story...I watched the first hour a couple months ago and never bothered with finishing it. I like the actors just fine but couldn’t get into it after all the hype.

Such an amazing film.  Gary Oldman is brilliant in it.  The cinematography is stunning as well. Natalie Portman’s performance was so good.  You could recognise her talent right from the get go.
