This movie was a very nice surprise.

I am a big Jake Gyllenhaal fan - I'll have to check this one out! :)

Rogue One in the theatre (quite enjoyed it, though wish I'd seen it before Christmas, those that have seen it will understand).

Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Batman: The Killing Joke, the holiday haul, lol.

Missed the first one which i hear was good. This one was ok, kinda weird/crazy.

I watched the first one at 9 yo, and it gave me terrific nightmares. I watched it again, followed by 2&3, at a friend's Halloween party when I was 16. Had no idea there were three more. Such a crazy movie/series.

I just watched Ice Age Collision Course, and Money Monster.

    First selection.. very cute!
Second selection.. slow, boring, and I didn't even end up finishing it.. good thing I didn't pay any money for that monster.

Watching this, by the end you can see how much in poor health Debbie Reynolds was by the end of filming which was in Jan of '15.
All it took was the sudden unexpected death of her daughter to push her over the edge.
Didnt realize what a great singer Carrie was.
    Interesting doc though.
I also noticed they spelled D. Reynolds name wrong on the poster above(Renyolds)

I watched Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and Reservoir Dogs last night... Whiskey was new, it's a good flick, you should watch it. And RD is an old favorite.

Can't watch any RW movie without crying at the beginning and it hurts more with life imitating art like that movie. Goddamn I miss him.

Watched Rogue One finally over the weekend. I thought it was excellent.
Also watched Greater - True story on the life of Brandon Burlsworth. Really enjoyed it for the most part, but I do love sports movies. This was no Rudy, but still worth a watch. I think it tries to hard to push it's religious sentiment onto the audience, but still good movie.

Saw La La Land tonight and I thought it was amazing. The last quarter of it was a little off, but I had a fun time watching it. Great performances all around.

Just wrapped up the series with this.
While acting was never particularly strong in any of these movies, the acting found in this entry is particularly bad, as is the editing and dialogue.
Poor ending to a series which was going downhill after the second movie. The story line was just a mess imo.

Yeah these could have all pretty much been the same movie.. it is akin to the Halloween series; draaaaaaaaged out.. beyond necessity..

Cheap Thrills - A rich couple pays two down on their luck guys to perform various acts.
One scene involves these two men bidding down to see who gets their pinkie cut off.
If that intrigues you, it is a good movie.
The worst of times..they don't phase me,

I have no idea what this means. Was it any better before Christmas? The version I saw on Sunday sucked donkey dick. Two hours of shooting at each other and about 20 minutes or so of plot. Zero character development and horrible acting. I was so happy to see the annoying leads die.
