    The Great Gatsby (2013).
I liked it. Having just read the book I was keen to see the movie.
What do people think of the film?

so that's a no then for just about everyone else

No offense but most of the movies you say are funny/good aren't for most of us like Ted 2, Ride Along 2 and just about any Kevin Hart movie.

I haven't met a lot of people that didn't like Ted 2, I found it to be better than the first. But yet again, I am a big fan of Seth Mcfarlane. But I am not sure if you have me confused with anybody else but I have not posted about any of the movies you mentioned including Ted 2 except for Ride Along 2. Kevin Hart may not be for everybody, but I happen to be a fan.

That was a response to someone posting they saw Ted 2 and didn't like it better than the first.
But I get it, everybody's different. I for one have enjoyed those comedy flicks. I am sure there are others that agree, and of course you are going to have those that disagree. Doesn't mean I don't share the same opinions with most on here and the movies they have seen. And I am still and always will be a big fan of all the classics.

I hear ya. Well definitely of the last movies I have seen I highly recommend 13 hours. They did a phenomenal job with that story. I don't think you will have many disappointments or many disagreeing with me on that one.

I liked it. Having just read the book I was keen to see the movie.
What do people think of the film?

typically baz luhrmann razzle dazzle. but for me anytime leonardo di caprio is on screen is a good time. :)

not bad. When i first saw the trailers i thought it was gonna be really bad. Then the critics said had mixed reviews and some friends who had already seen it said it was good. So then my expectations were a little higher. Had I not seen any reviews I would say it far exceeded my expectations.

Cool, going to have to check it out. I set the bar really low when they first announced it myself, and wondering how it was going to measure up against the original.

"The Walk". True story about Philippe Petit's high-wire walk between the twin towers. An absolutely marvelous movie that is also completely, totally, hand-sweaty, nail biting, nerve wracking!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

^^^^ Oooh, Brian. I had forgotten about that movie. I now remember seeing a preview in the theaters some time back and thinking it looked very much like you described. I'll have to check it out.

Just watched "Finding Dory". It was cute.
