Black Mass. It was good but felt like it was missing something.

    The Thing(2011)
Nice little companion piece/prequel to Carpenters original classic.

I'd call Carpenter's a classic but it wasn't the original.

True, I meant original as in the original Carpenter movie, not this 2011 version of the same name.
    You are correct though.

No worries, Carpenter's was so superior. It's still funny though to see James Arness as an alien. :scream:

Filth. Nowhere near as good as the book, obviously. It was decent enough though.

    Run All Night

Another standard Charles Bronson esque tough guy movie with Liam Neeson. The schtick is getting old. Good thing his next movie is from Scorsese.

That's the only one I've seen. I'll only watch that for nostalgia now especially since the characters graduate my senior year, 1999.

I haven't seen it yet (read the book), but I felt the same way after watching The Wolf of Wall Street.

Actually, "depressed" isn't the right word. It filled me with rage.

Not better than one but better than 2 which I liked as a kid but has gotten worse with age. Loved the cameos from the original cast members.

Oh and my new crush on McKinnon grows more. She's Joey Lauren Adams to my Affleck if you catch my drift.
