Star Trek - generations, pretty good. Tried watching 'Ted' but couldn't dig the humour, brought up on only fools & horses in the uk, so can relate to that bit more...
Tig, documentary about comedian Tig Notaro (which can be found on Netflix). Seriously a must-watch. She's an incredible human being who has gone through a ton, all with her unique sense of humor.

The Lost Boys (the shit I put up with for my wife)
At least it wasn't Twilight....unless it's on Rifftrax though. That's the only way I can see that, Transformers and Shamalayan crap without screaming in agony. I hope they ridicule 50 Shades next.
Speaking of Rifftrax, I just saw their riffing on Jack and Julie. Remember that "so bad it's good" classic, Birdemic? This is a romance movie from the same hack director years earlier

What, you don't like teen vampires?
Whiplash.
I don't know. Near Dark Came out the same year as The Lost Boys. It's also about a hormonal young man who gets lured into a gang of delinquent vampires by a hot chick, but that movie kicks all sorts of ass.

And I need to see Whiplash. It was a good friend's favorite movie during a year that Boyhood came out, which, to me, is the best film ever made.

I LOVED Near Dark. White trash vampires! Such a great take on the genre.
My prince and I had some enjoyable discussions and some laughs while watching Whiplash and afterwards. He's a musician, strictly amateur, but we talked about various musicians we've known over the years. We both graduated from University of North Texas, which has a very prestigious music school and is renowned for its various jazz bands. At the time, neither of us paid very much attention to the jazz bands but we knew a lot of music students. The movie really made me wonder about the pressure to excel.
"Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!" Not even a 'so-bad-it's-good' movie, this one is so bad it's just sh*t. The 'birth' scene was one of the most absurd things I've ever seen on TV. Plus of course... The Hoff in space!

Pretty damn good.
Looks like Margot Robbie gonna nail Harley Quinn role (she's so hot )
Man, what a letdown this was. Apatow is losing his mojo. Pop culture references and being over two hours do not a comedy classic make.
even if I look and act really crazy.

Tales From The Darkside: The Movie
You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
