Hubby is sick and I've been working every day since the 1st - and I'm a volunteer. :( I'm working tomorrow but then two days off!

It's all good. He just has a bad cold and I'm working on rearranging my volunteer hours. The work I was doing is now a full time job, so I will still be volunteering, but in a different way.

Holy shit...I'm just rifling through this thread and start reading about my hood! I'm in Winter Hill...the Gateway to Medford. Ever been to The Burren on Tuesday for open mic? Hit it on the right night and it's a blast.
The Field...I've finished the job there after stumbling out of the Middle East more than once.
Sligo used to be cool before they turned up the lights, replaced the jukebox, and removed the Golden Tee. Phoenix Landing on Saturdays is a blast. And I'm actually off to Johnny D's tonight...
Ok, that's enough...just got a little excited for good Somerville/Cambridge talk.0 -
hmmm...no one has mentioned my fav bar in Somerville yet.
and that's GOOD0 -
almost always stay in on friday nights. hubby works weekends, but is off thursdays/fridays...so usually friday being the end of my workweek, just relax with dinner/dvd/candles at home. this friday was a rare night out....NYC meet-up...great time!
saturday nights are *our* nights......nowadays trying to branch out, hit up new restaurants, couple bottles of wine....and home.......;)
Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow0 -

is the phoenix landing a really young dance crowd though? I've always gotten that impression.
I've never actually gone in sligo. I always walk by and it looks very cheesy. which is weird because I heard that there's a huge gathering of irish immigrants there.0 -
