    true story-many years ago
my friend and I had just come back from Miami and Moses Malone was on the flight

we are walking next to him and my buddy asks him for an autograph
he says sorry kid not today,
my buddy says, without missing a beat

"Yeah, I be pissed to if Ewing beat me up and down the court"

Moses smiled and signed the autographed. "youve got guts kid"
    was all he said.

Lucky for those who met the PJ folks...

But I've met all the girls from Sleater-Kinney - great and funny gals!!!

Carrie, Janet, and Corin. Carrie got us on her guest list for free for their Detroit show when we bumped into her in a record store in London when PJ did their Canadian tour.

Hubby and I talked to Boom's wife, Pinky, at the Detroit show. Very kind and down to earth woman! She gave me Matt's drumsticks and a lot of picks. :)

Enimem. Yup, met him in a line at Best Buy. :D Really, seemed like a very quiet and down-to-earth guy unlike what we are used to seeing him on TV.

    Um...that's about it.

Unless you consider Tim Bierman to be famous...I met him briefly at the Vic. :D Very nice man, too! :)

I wouldn't know about meeting the PJ members though...I'd probably run away. :p

I worked at Dodgers Staduim in the late 70s. I got to escort Linda Rondstadt from the press box to the field level to sing the National Anthem. She was very nice and very pretty. I also met Walter Matthau up in the cheap seats... with the real fans. He was a real descent guy... big Mets fan. and Frank Sinatra... he yelled at me because I couldn't keep the little pre-teen girls from running up and down the aisles. They were like herding kittens. I think Sinatra was pissed because the little girls were there to see Shaun Cassidy (who was sitting a couple of rows back) and no one made a big fuss about him.
