I watched it on TBS sunday afternoon.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

I really liked Kate and I don't mind Leo (basketball diaries/blood diamond/the beach/departed/etc) but the acting in Titanic bothered me as well as the songs, the mushyness, some of it seemed a bit unrealistic.....and nobody had a chainsaw thrown at them;)

Don't you try and dig your way out. :p
You already complained of leaving the theatre to barf. :)
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

I'm with the folks who love this movie. You really have to be one miserable person to not get swept up in this movie..And what's with the Leo bashing? He's in some great fucking flicks!!
    --Gangs of New York
    --The Departed
    --Catch Me if You Can
    --The Basketball Diaries
    --This Boy's Life
    --Blood Diamond
    --The Aviator
--The Beach (Yes, I liked this one too)

Just proves your a Leo slappy who will love whatever he's in, because that movie is horrible.

No, that proves absolutely nothing because I already mentioned all of the movies I liked that he happened to be in. There are a ton in which he was involved in that I don't care for in the least. However, 'Gangs of New York,' and 'The Departed,' are both in my top 10 all time list :)..

The most unrealistic part of that movie imo is when kate winslet has perfect aim with the ax in the one scene when she's freeing Leo from the handcuff and she had her eyes closed!

The only cool thing about this movie (i said movie..pay attention!) is that the ship sank, which pretty much warranties there won't ever be a sequel.

Well, I liked it anyway. You lot are a bunch of elitests/miserable buggers/cynics/cranks..........feel free to choose one

You're not having a whiney, Rose-like tanty are you James? ;)

I'm glad you liked it. :) There are things about it I like too, but mostly those are eclipsed by the surperflous, contrived love story and I guess I'm only passionate in my dislike of that because I was disappointed that a true story, that fascinates me, could be handled in such a cavalier manner. :)

It's all good. :) We can't all like the same things hey? :)
    NOPE!!!

Now! Now! :) Play nice people! :D

I'm not a miserable person but I wasn't swept up by this film. It annoyed me mostly.

And as for Leo, I don't dislike Leo, if you go back through my posts I've explained why I don't find him romantic lead material, but I think he's a good actor. Actually I have seen examples of brilliant acting from him, but I'll never be able to see him comfortably playing the romantic lead. :)
