    normally the luxemburgish version is Metty but my gf has italian roots and I wanted my son to know this. But we changed it a little bit. Normally it's Matteo but our Name has a french touch and so we changed it to Mattéo. We don't know if it already exist...

    Its the most amazing thing in the world..congrats :D

    No matter how shitty you feel, a smile from your kid just melts you...this morning my (nearly) 2 year old came over to me with her toast, jumped up on my knee, snuggled into my chest and said "Love you daddy", I nearly burst into tears :D

    yes, things were passings fast. It's just incredible what we got trough. We had some complications during the first 5 months, a lot of Hemorrhagies, we had a triple test with suspicions then we decided to make an Amniosynthesis.... a lot of trouble and now we have this angel and we can call him son. It's fantastic!!! I'm just so proud!!!!!!!

    Congrats, bro. I was about your age when my son was born (he's 4 now) and it's a life altering experience. One thing that is great is when their personalities take shape and they start acting JUST LIKE YOU. Then you think to yourself, 'I actually act like that.'

    I still can't pick the day I enjoyed more: the day he was born or the he told me he wanted to hear "the new song" which is his code for Spin the Black Circle. His name is Zack, so it was easy to sing it to him as 'Spin the Zack Circle'.

    His favorite version is off the 95 Soldier Field boot. Too funny.

    He is also a big fan of Go now.

    Nothing better than being a proud father.

    Oh, your poor hearts... that must have been so hard, especially it being the first baby. So glad that he is healthy and sooooo cute. God, I love babies. :)
    You are blessed. You have a really important job now. Raising a child to be an intelligent, caring and respectful human is a full-time job in itself. But so gratifying.
