    Congratulations :)

    You still have a few years to straighten up completely. My son is now 7, and I have just recently started to notice that I am his model. That is pushing me to be the best person I can be and it's a good thing.

    Love him/her unconditionally, be respectful and sensitive to their needs, you'll be fine :)

    It will all be okay! Congratulations! My husband's best friend is a single dad, and he always took his daughter to concerts with him! They used to dress up for "KISS" concerts when she was in grade school! He used to have neighborhood teens hang out with him when he was a young dad like yourself, and now they are grown with kids themselves. These kids with kids are now asking him to take their kids to concerts because he is so cool.

    You are just beginning a new adventure, and you will no doubt, be the coolest dad if you just remember to be yourself, and enjoy that baby! Good Luck!

    Congratulatiuons!. You should check out the "who here is pregnant" thread. It's been around since early on in my wife's pregnancy, and Jack is over a year old now. A lot of questions you have now have probably been asked and answered in that thread

    i'm sure you'll figure everything out...things will come naturally as far as what to do. i've watched as a co-worker of mine has grown up tremendously w/in the couple months after his son was born. the way he gets excited to show us all pics of his lil one, makes me want to give him a big hug :D

    anywho...keep us posted.

    exactly!! i have great time, second time around playing with lego, jigsawpuzzle's, barbie ect. When i figured out i was pregnant i was a little big bit opgelaten ( dont know the right word to get the feeling across, ill edit later). I always thought that you get a call from nature whenever its your time to start having kids. You know, you don't get one. We talked about it, our age was "right" so.....go for it. Congrats...have a wonderfull life.
