    Quiet time spent alone deep in thought. it seems hard to think about yourself but think about children and how they are so into themselves. I look at my daughter when I get down and I think, "gosh I was once a little girl, when did I settle?".
    We have to grow past our selfish traits as we get older but nothing wrong with trying to see just where we need to go in life. Balance is key in everything.

    (wow I should take my own advice)...........

    That's the thing...I don't feel like I settled. Everything I've done I've wanted...but it was taken from me.the reality I see and the reality I live are 2 different things. Neither what I want, but more so what was forced upon me.

    what about when one's self/life finds them?
    that's what happens to me.
    stuff finds me.

    I agree with this. We're ever evolving - so you just gotta go with it and accept who you are. Just really listen to yourself - what gets you excited, what do you feel passionate about, when do you feel at peace, when do you feel stressed, energized, etc. and go with. Just paying attention to yourself and the way you feel at any given time and in any given situation is who you are. You've already found yourself - you just have to see it.

    yes! meditation and mindfulness specifically. I think a lot of times we stamp out our natural instincts "I can't do that because blah blah blah" - I think the key is noticing it and accepting it.

    i go on feeling, instinct way before thinking shit out.
    not that i am at all a success bank account whys as of yet
    but i am pretty dang happy being one poor fucker
    and i truely have not 1 single give a fat rats ass about a fuckin thing
    unless it bleeds and that's the earth too btw..material shit means nothing to me..
    i've started my life over many times, and it'll happen many more times.
    all while saying, who gives a fuck, i'm happy changing..
    birth
    death...what's inbetween is ours
    and probably we even own our after-lives..

    That's cool :) Yeah - I think it's a work in progress. And I think even if you have all the material things in the world, it won't fill you up anywhere close to being filled with a sense of peace. I'm not there yet - no where close! but working on it.
