I have a *friend* who is a girl and my lady has no problem with that. I've even slept in the same hotel room with her and everything was cool. Now grant you she's half my age, beautiful, single mother and I still find a way to keep my cool around.
When go out to concerts everybody thinks we're together.

She respects what I have and I respect what she wants in her young life. Her daughter loves me and how attentive I'm at concerts and at protest marches we attend.
SFPeople think that way mainly because of her daughter who is interracial and she looks like me. We just look like a couple. We've travel all over the east coast to concerts both with eyes of approval and disdain of being interracial friends.
PPI'm a man and yes in the morning the thought runs through my mind with her in the shower I have found an inner strength to restrain myself. I just think of my lady and thought is over.

two of my oldest (longest-term) friends are guys-I've known them nearly half my life. I've always gotten along better with men. Women (no offense ladies) tend to be catty and nasty to me and can get envious easily. Guys aren't like that, they're like, "hey. What's up?"
Plus I am a sports chick and what would I do if I didn't have guys to talk to about it? I have not known many females that are die-hard baseball fans like me and who understand the theory behind why you can't speak to me when a baseball game is on!
Plus they do also help with the 'male perspective' about guy-speak. Like I have learned that: "I'll talk to you later" means sometime between the moment they say it and the day someone dies (God Forbid). Guys view time differently then women. We expect a follow-up phone call or e-mail poste haste, and guys are like "huh? What the big whoop?"
NOw what "I need space" means...I don't know :(

The only reason they are so friendly to you is the fact that you're a women, no threat involved. Or they just want a fuck, no matter what you think.
I have one or two girl friends, but if I was alone with them for a long time, like maybe over three weeks, I would want to have sex just because I need to. Sorry to say it, but its true. Any other time it would be a no no.
i know alot of very intelligent women.
for me, i am all about communicational skills.
i don't always find a bump on a log intellectually stimulating.
anyone who has a thought, a feeling, a sense of humor, or a talent and can grab my attention, i am interested in being around these people.
