So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

is that a slam to me?? if so, thanks a$$ face!

Hey, that was totally uncalled for. I'm rooting for the Dodgers and it sickens me they've gone this long w/out the title, thus the throwing up pic. What's the matter w/you?

Maybe I took it the wrong way--like you were "hurling" at my crossed fingers pic.

Sorry if I reacted too fast---and I think I will pass on kissing your face!!! :p

Every day this week, along with their usual assignments, I've added "Think Blue" to my students' homework assignments.

Their homework sheets have looked something like this:
    1. Read pages 21-30 in the text.
    2. Complete exercises 1-6 on pages 31-35.
    3. Think Blue.

What the Dodgers have done in games 1 and 2 seems so drastically improbable that I've convinced myself that these homework "assignments" have been an integral part of their success (along with good pitching, phenomenal hitting, and a Chicago-implosion normally reserved for the Mets).

I'm so convinced of the connection that today, after forgetting to put "Think Blue" on the HW sheet, I frantically collected each of the sheets from each of the students and personally wrote the mantra on each one.

    I hope I haven't broken the streak.

Me too. Not being negative, but I don't think the Dodgers will sweep the Cubs.

    Think like Matt Kemp:

CHICAGO -- As he grabbed his suitcase and headed for the clubhouse door following the Dodgers' 10-3 pasting of the Cubs on Thursday night, Los Angeles center fielder Matt Kemp had a few words for the Wrigley Field clubhouse attendant.

"See you next year," Kemp said.
