Pans Labryinth is a great film. Hellboy sucks but the 2nd is supposed to be better.

I haven't seen any films from the other dude but isnt he the one who did 'the happening'? Someone told me the ending to that and it sounds diabolical!!!! Plus Mark wahlberg can't act. His idea of 'dramatic' acting is looking constipated for 2 hours.

Why can't everyone's opinion be considered and valued?
Also, I don't consider M Night's work to be gothic horror at all.
But of course, that is just me.

I love Del Toro's work. I have to admit though, I think The Devil's Backbone is a better film than Pan's Labrynth - not to say that's a bad movie though!

Oh, and I liked both Hellboy's, probably the first one more !

It was pretty damn creepy.

Kinda like "National Treasure" meets "The Ring"

I've only seen Hellboy by DT, and The Village and Sixth Sense by MNS. I much preffered the latter two, Hellboy isn't my cuppa, but I like the sound of some of the others...I shall check them out.
