Won't be today, because I have more family stuff to get to but SOON James, soon we need a nice little drinkies together at the same time. :)

It better be Aussie, whatever you're drinking! ;)

It's actually a very fancy rioja, given by one of my very nice customers, Mr Heathcote. Poor old fella, couldn't remember where he'd put it the one day, bless, got it the next day though...very nice too.
Yes, time zones are a pain in the arse.
And, I got rather tight on a nice Aussie last night..Wolfblass, cabernet merlot.....so nice it was.

Ah! :) Thank you Mr Heathcote! :)

Wolfblass is nice. And you never have to ask me twice if I'd like a merlot! :D

This morning I discovered that I'd drunk nearly the whole bottle of Caramel Bailey's I got yesterday for Christmas from my uncle. AND there were SEVERAL empty vodka cans littered around the place. :o

    Christ Jeanie...that's putting it away!!
I left the Baileys this year, as much as I love it..our freezer packed up last week...and Baileys without ice, well forget it.
This rioja is mighty fine, I just wish I could pour you a glass...(and you too if you're reading this).

Well I had lots of lovely ice, thankfully and it goes down so easy.

I'm glad the wine is good. My loverlee Daddo did give me a lovely bottle yesterday. :) Penfold's Koonunga Hill Cab Sav South Eastern Australia 2002.

Oh, bit of a soak are we? You Aussies do have a reputation to keep up though. The 2002 sounds fancy, must've cost a few quid. BTW, did I tell you how my mum keeps buying me theses awful sweaters every xmas?...she must think I want to be a fisherman or something...it's mental.

Enough of this misery..no one seems bothered by that awful sweater I got, and bought for me by the woman that gave birth to me...could it be any sadder? 5 xmas gifts in a row, all ill fitting and....ill matched, is it me?

I love me mum..I just think she must hate me..I mean, I've never worn a sweater or a shirt, along the lines of what she gives me every year...so why do it....does she not give a shit?

hmm maybe you need to figure out a way to subtly tell her you dont need another sweater. or you could just be brave and next year say, 'mum, you know what i'd love for xmas? a....' :D. she probably gives you a sweater cause she doesnt know any better and youve said nothing to the contrary. we're mothers, not mindreaders, darlin'. :p:D
