can anyone recommend some good winter ales? the winter beers are always tough for me, because i am such a fan of pumpkin ales in the fall... i am yet to taste a great winter ale that can rival the pumpkin. tough act to follow!0

what i'm drinking now....
Blue Moon seasonal cOllection Full moon.
The aroma is warm and nutty to start with and it pours a nice rich, amber with a thick orange head. There is an essence of brown sugar that comes through very well.

i honestly have not had a pumpkin ale beer in all my years (few as they are).
i've had a peach infused beer...........not good.

Isn't that a great song! Actually the land of milk and honey is a nick-name for California, but I totally had that in my head when I was typing it.(And incidentally it is in my head now).
