    hopefully it's not like the typical light beers? i hate light beer if only because it makes me physically ill. i cant explain, maybe it's more mental but who knows.

    i'll have to try it though.

    LOL. when i drink beer out of a pilsner glass they just FLOW down!!! before you know it, i am pretty drunk.

    can anyone recommend some good winter ales? the winter beers are always tough for me, because i am such a fan of pumpkin ales in the fall... i am yet to taste a great winter ale that can rival the pumpkin. tough act to follow!

    just had it for the first time last week....

    sierra nevada celebration ale.

    coming in at 6.8% it's no slouch

    nice... i'm a huge fan of sierra nevada's pale ale (one of my absolute favs)... i'll have to check the celebration ale out.

    It's a very good Winter Brew! I've had a lot of the other "big name companies" Winter Brews and Sierra Nevada's is def. up there!!

    what i'm drinking now....

    Blue Moon seasonal cOllection Full moon.

    The aroma is warm and nutty to start with and it pours a nice rich, amber with a thick orange head. There is an essence of brown sugar that comes through very well.

    :eek: pilsner reminds me of drinking olives :o

    try krusovice or gambrinus for Czech beers. :D

    hmmm... love blue moon... love harvest moon... never tried the full moon.

    another one to check out next time i'm buying booze.

    i honestly have not had a pumpkin ale beer in all my years (few as they are).


    i've had a peach infused beer...........not good.

    Isn't that a great song! Actually the land of milk and honey is a nick-name for California, but I totally had that in my head when I was typing it. :D (And incidentally it is in my head now). :p
