Scarface. I don't know what all the fuss was about.

yeah, I agree - I thought that Al Pacino's acting was over the top and ridiculous. . . as a matter of fact, I thought that it was the movie people had as a guilty pleasure...turns out they really liked his turn as Tony Montoya (sp) !!

    Cock-a-roach-es????? seriously!

anyhoo, I HATED Moulin Rouge. THAT MOVIE SUCKED. It was stupid, poorly acted, and annoying. I wanted her to hurry up and die. I can't tell you how much I hated that movie. Which sucked for me since i really liked the premise.

I am not a fan of Schindler's List. I thought it was over rated.

    lord of the rings
    star wars
  • Lord of the Rings - I only saw the first one (against my will) and was totally bored...but I'm gonna have to reevaluate this now that I've fallen in love with Viggo Mortensen. :D

Magnolia - Ugh x 1000. I just did not like it.

You are 100% right. It was ok at best. The fact that Marky Mark got an Oscar nomination shows how much of a joke the Oscars are.

    Shreck, all of them.

Saw the first one and I hated it. Then I was forced to see the second one (part of it anyway) and it was even worse, which I thought was impossible.

Haven't seen the third one yet (there are three, right?) but I imagine it can't be much better than the previous two.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

I liked the first Shrek. I watched a bit of the second one on tv once, and I don't remember anything about it...other than the fact that when Shrek gets turned into a human guy, he looked an awful lot like my husband. :D That was amusing...but, the whole franchise is just a money machine with unfunny jokes scattered throughout.

THANK YOU!!! I wanted to like this piece of garbage, but have never made it more than 10 mimutes in without turning it off. I've tried at different points (just in case it was only the beginning that sucked) and it was a shitstorm throughout.
