I can't stand "Crash". How that piece of garbage won an academy award, I have no idea.

About 20 minutes in, I said to my hubby "so, this is going to be a movie about racism, how we're all the same and we're all connected".

I felt like it was a cliche' of a movie about racism.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Lord of the Rings. Found the first one to be like watching paint dry.

    You're nuts. LOTR freakin rocks.

Garden State - terrible. though one of the best soundtracks of all time. Natalie Portman has got to be one of the worst actresses ever. She is so not believable as anything! Galactic senators, queens, strippers, basket cases, wife of a sith, nada!

    Lost in translation - eh.

    Clockwork Orange.

Oh yeah, and Kevin Smith movies. That kind of humor is for half-wits. Makes me want to put my finger in my eye.

HAHAHAHAHA.. wow, sweep me off my feet there dunkalicious...

It was just purely horrible. I can't even describe my loathing for Sweeney Todd. I love musicals, but this one just made me want to fall asleep. I went with my mom, brother and husband and I was afraid they liked it, so I didn't say anything and I actually tried to close my eyes and sleep. However, it sucked so bad I couldn't sleep. I finally just looked to my sides and said "God, can we go?" and everyone got up and ran out!

It was so dull, and slow, and dry.. ugh!
  • Did anyone say Harry Potter yet?

I guess the message was that this janitor guy is a genius, but never had money for College?! I really don't know...MAtt Damon is a fine actor, Ben Affleck...not so much!!

The message was it is possible to let go of your past.

    It is a great movie.

I totally don't like good will hunting!!! I've never understood what the point/message was supposed to be...

This might be just me but I always saw Good Will Hunting as a better knockoff of With Honors.

In With Honors which came out three years ago, a bum at Harvard turns out to be smarter than anyone's expectations. In Good Will Hunting, 3 years later, a janitor at MIT turns out to be smarter than anyone's expectations.

I also thing Road Trip is a total knockoff of Overnight Delivery.

Overnight Delivery starring Reese Witherspoon came out in 1998 and the main character sends a letter breaking up with his gf and goes on a road trip to keep the letter from being delivered and falls in love with the girl he traveled with (Witherspoon) and then breaks up with his gf. In Road Trip in 2000, the main character accidentally sends a movie to his gf which will break them up and in the end falls in love with the girl from the beginning of the movie and breaks up with his gf.

It's sad, how Hollywood just knocks off its own ideas a couple years later.
