hitting the bike in about an hour.. feeling buggered already
Bro had the Aust triathlon team in recently. They gave him 4 shithot pairs of Asic's. Im wearing right now. $300 worth.
12 chins
12 burpees
12 sets- 35.31min
Hate is a very strong word.............I fuckin HATE burpees.
Hurt today. Bad attitude. Told the guy I was training with to STFU, spat on the ground, got lightheaded. By about set 6 I was having a minute break after the burpees.
Took me about 15 mins to recover. Bad day but good effort/time

why the light-headed-ness?
i'm re-thinking my little fitness regime.. i know i'm getting fit but i'm losing weight, i'd rather just tone up as i'm already slim.. hmmmmmmmmmm..
But I do workout videos and they kick my a$$. I can't just read magazines and look at the excercises. For some reason my head can't figure out which leg to lift, where my arm goes, etc. I need to SEE it in action. So, workout videos it is!
My favorite is Jillian Michaels. The woman is a monster. Seriously. I've been doing 30 day fit for about 2 weeks now and it's intense. There are 3 workouts, of increasing intensity and I can only do the first to so far (and I'm in pretty good shape). They vary between strength/cardio and abs.
I also like Charlene Johnson - Beach Body Abs. It's not all focused on abs, there is a cardio workout as well as a strength/tone with hand weights and it's great.
I can definately see a difference in my build. I'm toning up. When I first started the 30 day shred, I could barely get out of bed in the morning. Same thing with Beach Body abs, but as I get used to it, it gets easier. I mix them up with running but I can't recommend them enough. It's not your legwarmers/big hair 80's workout.

Saturday: Hiked with dogs 2.25 miles
Spinning at gym with bike club crew - a 60minute DVD geared towards triathletes.
Sunday: Hiked with the dogs 2.25 miles.
Ran 5.33 miles
Monday: Swam for appr. 30 minutes (not very productive - was tired)
Strength training work-out. Go ahead and laugh, but I didn't want to go back to the gym so I did one of the first Cindy Crawford work-outs from a long, long time ago. I always thought they were good. I don't watch the DVD, I have the routine written down so I just do it in front of the tv.
Tuesday (this morning): Ran 4.0 miles. Hopefully will get on my bike trainer after work today and do a short work-out.
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals. Ghandi
30 x 50kg clean & press
30 x chin ups
800m run
4 sets
This took me just over an hour. The last set of clean & press was around 9mins. That first move is sooo hard. Trying to do chins when your shoulders are busted just sucks arse.
I lay on the floor afterwards for 10 mins, breathing was ok but my hearing had pretty much gone. Completely zapped me!!!
I then lay on the foam roller until I stopped shaking. When I finally hit the shower I realised Id been lying there for 25-30 mins. Now thats some recovery time right there folks!
Sucked every little ounce of energy I had. Currently replacing with a chicken salad and two bananananas.
Im used to this sorta stuff....its never easy tho......today was top 3 for sure
