He was a real nice guy at the signing. He even stayed an hour late to sign everyone's book and missed the first half of the 76ers Nuggets game. There were so many Red Sox jerseys in the bookstore that day. I wonder how many will be brave enough like me to wear one if its a Phillies Sox series in a week or so.

The thing is Byrd is a starter so it probably takes him awhile to loosen up so the only choice really was Timlin.

There are others who had more of an impact on that game than Tito. Francona played the bullpen perfectly until Timlin and if the Sox could have scratched out a run in the many opportunities that they had it would be a non issue. Look at Ellsbury and Ortiz's ineffectivness as a key reason why they lost. Ellsbury just should have stayed in Boston with the way he's played so far.
I think Timlin sucks but when the Sox leave 22 runners on base that's not really Tito's fault.
man, from all these games that are on until 1 AM to gmaes that start at 4:30 pm on the east coast ... people can't catch a break on these start times.
