Theo resigned with a new contract.
The Red Sox have signed general manager Theo Epstein to a new contract beyond
this season. "We are all on the same page with regard to our vision for the
organization," owner John Henry wrote in an e-mail to the Globe this afternoon.
"The negotiations were pleasant and were all about rewarding Theo for the great,
great job he has done in bringing two world championships to the Red Sox. We
look forward to the difficult task of trying to win a third."

Yeah I think he only pitched 3 innings or something. He complained that he felt jet lagged.

I found this on a blog:

We won't know anything officially for awhile - I'm guessing not until the series with the Rays is over. But good to know he's back for awhile.

well, back to a game down ...

both teams will make the playoffs ... but, I think we'd rather see the Sox in 1st at season's end ... the wildcard team is going to have to play the Angels ... and while the Sox have had their number over the years, I don't want to see them until the ALCS if possible

Nice. The Red Sox come back to Philly again next year. And thankfully this time it's a weekend series.

What I wanna know is why are there games in October!?!?!?!

Now that I think of it...this stinks...that means A-Rod is going to be able to play in October! I bet Boras had something to do with this! Hahhahahaa.
