    that'd be cool if he was there, i think he was there last night. i always root for no-hitters to happen regardless of the team. i've been to close to 450-500 games and never seen one, seen a few taken into the sixth inning and beyond.

    Too bad college football starting up and Michagan's upset will take away from the spotlight of this great feat. ONly his 2nd start ever, only 3rd pitcher in the last 100 years to throw a no-hitter in his 2nd or fewer start.

    i myself am a diehard sox fan and was disgusted the way sportscenter paid more damn attention to michigan upset. who gives a damn. upsets happen ALL THE TIME in sports, no-hitters happen once or twice a season and to top it all off this kids 23 and makin his second major league start.

    I beg to differ, baseball has been going all season however this was the opening of the college football season. The Michigan loss doesn't happen all the time, this was in Michigan and they came from a Division AA team.

    That's like a high school baseball team playing the Sox on opening day and beating them @ Fenway. That's pretty incredible and I thought the coverage they the Sox win was more than ample. On the books it only counts as 1 win.... the magic #.....27 and counting.

    I went to the game last night at Camden Yards and the Saux got their ass handed to them even after having a 4-1 lead.

    Dice K pitched like elephant dung but that's not the story. The story was that sold out Camden Yards home of the Orioles was 80% or more fill with Red Sox fans.

    It was weird to see a Oriole fan in the stadium. In our club seat section of 200 fans less than 10 were Oriole fans and one of them was my daughter.

    Anyway I believe the count is now down to 14 after today's 3-2 victory.
